We purchased two of these, for two different rooms, and ended up needing to use them both last night in our bedroom. Our air conditiioning went out, and the temp in our room was 78 degrees! These moved enough air that it wasn't uncomfortable to sleep. They are sturdy, and easily adjustable. Spend the little bit of extra money, and you will be pleased.
This is like an airplane taking off on the runway. Lots of great air at great speed at great noise.

We got this to replace a 11 inch fan in our bedroom. This is an 11 inch fan but it is at least 2x as noisy. Needs a step slower speed. Grrr.
Blows very well. You can adjust it for any height of bed or wherever and adjust speed . Best of all it is not large and bulky so it doesnt take up alot of room . Love Vornado so much I bought the shorter version with no pedestol for hotels visits.
This is the BEST fan I have ever used! It's pricy, but it's worth it over the Lasko fans that have been slowly increasing in price while the quality takes a big dip. This fan is a little loud if you use it on anything but the lowest setting, but I don't mind. It's a nice strong fan at all settings where you can really feel the difference in the room it's being used in. The only con is the instructions vs reality on how to put the feet on the stand. The directions in the instruction booklet (both written and the graph) is wrong and the feet WILL fall off. You have to unscrew and remove the base, put the feet in, and then put the base back on. Tada. The feet are in, very sturdy, and do not budge. After about 20 minutes of frustration while a family member and I followed the directions and kept having one of the feet fall off, they figured out the correct way to put the feet on the base of the stand on accident. I don't know if the instructions have been reprinted with a correction since I purchased the fan, but if it has not, I hope this helps anyone who sees my review!
I needed a fan for an apartment to better circulate the air, especially this summer. While the fan itself seems to work great, it was FAR from easy to assemble. The "lock" and key part that is supposed to 'click' easily was horrible, to the point where it jammed together and now will be staying at one height instead of adjustable. If it wasn't the only fan left in stock I would have returned! this is ridiculous. Would not recommend especially for the price!

Love this fan looks small but it puts out a lot of air
I have a desktop Vornado that I love !!! so I bought the pedestal one for my living room ... These fans are very different from a regular oscillating fan .. they circulate to cool the entire space .. I'll never buy another brand again !! and of course buying from Bed Bath and Beyond I always have a coupon of some sort on my account so I got $23 off !! happy, cool, camper !!
I mainly purchased this fan in hopes it would block outside noise since I sleep during the the day. This is great for that and it also circulates the air very well!!
Don't let this little fan fool you!! The BEST Fan ever! When cleaning you can blow it out and take front off to clean blades.
