I really love this heater. It becomes very effective when you close the door of the room. Don't expect to get a warm living room/bedroom when you always open the door and let the warm air to escape outside :)
I bought this heater to use in my bedroom. However, it was so loud that I couldn't sleep. I tried it for several nights but decided it wasn't going to work for me. I will say it heated the room very well. I was very disappointed because I've read good things about Vornado. Upon researching other heaters, I discovered the VH2 and the AVH2 are the only 2 Vornado heaters that are actually made in the USA. Several are designed in the US but manufactured in other countries. This is important to me. I returned the Velocity 3 and ordered the VH2 from another company.

I bought this product a few months ago and it never works correctly. Right off the bat I believe the bearing for the fan blade is shot since it keeps making this rickety noise. This heater never heats up and always blows cold air. I literally have to hit the thing on the side in order for the heat to sometimes come on. Not a word from the warranty company when I contacted them.

We really like the Vornado heaters. Have bought several others. Also like the 5year warranty. They work very well for the size of room we need them for.

I love Vornado products and the fact that the company is US based. This heater has a good fan to move the air, but it only runs at 1 speed, whether it's set at low, medium or high and it's a tad bit noisy. I would love to have the ability to quiet the fan since it is used in an office.

stopped workingafter 3wks! when I turn it on-heat for only 2mins max!
I've used this product for about a month and it has performed well. It has kept my bedroom at a comfortable temperature, allowing me to lower the temperature in the rest of the house. I am pleased and think it a good purchase, a good product at a fair price.
Bought this unit just over a month ago. My master bedroom is always just a little cooler in the winter than the rest of the house. This was purchased to supplement that room -- and it delivers perfectly!

This space heater isn't too hot to touch. It blows warm air and keeps me comfortable in my basement office. It isn't too loud.
Love the way it warms the room immediately
