Wamsutta® 500-Thread-Count PimaCott® Damask Stripe 3-Piece Comforter Set

The whole inside of the comforter shriveled up inside when I cleaned it the first time. And it doesn't fit a king size bed well. I returned the item and will never buy this brand again.

I bought the comforter and matching sheets months ahead of time because I upgraded from a twin bed to preordered new double size bed (knowing it would take time to deliver). October 26th my new bed arrived and the new sheets and comforter were put on. October 31st I had my hip replaced so I haven't been able to address my disappointment until now. The quilt is so heavy and hot I can't sleep. I do not even have my heater on. The wrinkles did not come out either. Originally wanted the matching duvet cover but its been out of stock for a year! The polyester fill is so thick and heavy my body can't breath!

I took this comforter to the laundromat and wash and dried according to label, it came out totally twisted like the inside comforter was twisted with the outside layer. The only way to fix it would be to cut it open straighten it then sew it shut!! I prefer clean sheets this is to much of a hassle. Super disappointed in Bed Bath and Beyond expected way more from them, will not shop there again!!!

I bought these sheets a few years ago. I had bought Wamsutta products in the past and was expecting them to be high quality. I was sooooo disappointed. First, the fitted sheet did not fit snuggly on my 15 inch mattress. It was too loose and was always wrinkling up. Tucking it in on the bottom didn't help. Second, the flat sheet was not long enough. I have never seen such a thing. Later I measured the sheet and it is 92 by 92 inches long. It is always coming up and I have to remake the bed between sheet changes because it is all messed up. Finally, the sheets already have holes in them. These are a complete waste of money. I will not buy Wamsutta ever again.

I haven't had any holes in my sheets. I have had them for several years. I have washed them in my washing machine over the years and never did they get holes in them. For those that are getting holes, maybe there is something wrong with your washing machine. I love the sheets and never had a single problem with any of them. By the way, I have 5 of them. Unfortunately they are still out of stock.

I had been waiting for this to come into stock for months so naturally when my husband got it for me as a present I was elated! I was immediately heartbroken when upon washing it the first time in my washing machine that it ripped a giant hole in it. It was so big my washer couldn't even wash it properly and when I tried to dry it the inner parts literally melted!!! I dried it on the lowest heat setting possible on my machine so I was dumbfounded. I have standard HE washer and dryers and got the king size. If you don't own a industrial sized washer and dryer expect on making trips to a laundry mat... I love the feel of the fabric but since it was melted and ripped it's pretty much useless and I didn't even get to use it!

I have purchased Wamsutta comforters before and never had an issue with them. This one smelled like something had died in it. I took it back to the store for an exhange and the second smelled horrible as well. I returned same day for a refund. Too bad. They hold up really well and are beautiful.

Love this comforter for winter! The fabric feels so luxurious! Cool crisp cotton. Heirloom feel to it. The denim blue is a gorgeous navy/gray color which is hard to find. Im a hot sleeper in Texas so i save this for the cooler months (October -May) but am in love with this comforter! I wish they also had a comforter, made of the same cool, crisp cotton, in a lighter weight for the warmer months.
