My orthodontist had mentioned to use a water pik during the application of my new braces. I did purchase a small battery operated travel size to take to work. Much to my surprise the pressure was scary and I didn't try it on my teeth, only my hand. Fearful of water flossing, I did google search for adjustable water piks and much to my surprise, I found this one. I started with using pressure #3 and has gradually increased the pressure. I just love it and use it daily and wished I had used one all my life!! I am so happy with my new water pik and have purchased extra accessories for braces. Thank you for my healthy smile!!
The device works fine, it's the plastic housing that falls apart after a brief period of time, about 3 years. I've gone through three of these items with the exact same problem. The plastic housing begins to break off. The device itself works great ! That's why I keep purchasing them. But I know they will start breaking apart after a short time. I caution people are purchasing this product. Be prepared for the plastic housing to start breaking apart . However the pump works fine, but you end up throwing out the pump with the broken plastic housing. Waste !

It’s been hard to learn how to use this. It’s extremely messy so I’m not quite sure just how I feel about it yet.

I wish I started using this long ago! I can’t get over how clean it gets my teeth. Hated string flossing but love Waterpik flossing. I’ll never go without again!

It’s okay. It’s not what I was expecting but it does help get food that’s in hard to reach places but flossing is cheaper.
