Very cool product however it's still a little buggy. The integration with Alexa works pretty well. They seem to drop from the network frequently and sometime they just don't show up or work for minutes at a time. Unplugging and plugging back in clears the fault. the real challenge is the connection with Google Home. The Google Home / Wemo is not ready for prime time. It should really still be in beta. It's a night and day difference between the performance using Alexa and the performance using Google Home. Alexa wins hands down. It is very easy for Alexa to hear the command and turn the switches on and off. Google struggles, for example two switches one "end table one" and another "end table two". ALexa " end table one on" and it happens, no problem, same with "end table two". On and off no hassle. Google requires me to say " turn off end table one switch". SO you would think the command would work for end table two. nope End table two will not work unless I say "turn off end table two" if I add sitch which is required for one it says it doesn't know what to do or can't find the device, or device not set up or ..... Two switches set up the same but requiring different formats for instructions. And it has to be exact or no light for me. Alexa just gets it. Two hours on the phone with Google Support and the end of it is they are still working on it. So for now stick with Alexa for Wemo.
Bought these switches about a month ago. They worked great until the app couldn't find them anymore. I factory reset the devices to hopefully fix the issue only for the app to make it impossible to set my devices back up. After a couple of days of trying all sorts of trouble shooting steps, I got one to finally get set up only to have the app not detect them again. What's weird is that even though the wemo app couldn't see the devices, I could control and monitor them without issue through the Alexa app. Would recommend steering clear of these switches until the bugs are fixed. Not worth the headache

My house is setup with Apple HomeKit and the Wemo integrated with no issues. The form factor is great as it leaves the other outlet unobstructed. the only reason it didn’t get 5 stars was because it doesn’t have all of the high end features (e.g. power consumption).

Uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times. It works with the wemo app but not with alexa. It used to but that has changed.

Bought a smart switch 2 + years ago- works great. Bought 2 mini-plugs - won't connect. Trying again, still won't work, and now my smart switch has disappeared in app (but still works). Wants me to use location services - not happening. Guess it's time to look for better technology.

I've had this for a while, yea it's nice... when it works, then when power goes out or wifi goes out, then it's blinking orange light, im fussing with it for hours and hours before it reconnects again... it's absolutely not worth the hassel, DON'T BUY, wait till they fix it or go buy another brand name. I'm at a point i want to throw it in the fire of hell. I've been a long time supporter of belkin since 1998... but now, not so sure anymore

The smart plug ones disconnected from the router. You will have a hard time if able to work again

I bought three of the mini plug-in devices. I was not able to get any of the 3 set up. They are not visible in WEMO app and Apple home app sees one of them but you can’t schedule on/off times I home, only scenes. Spent hours trying, researched online, talking to tech. Nothing works.

I just bought 2 more of these to replace by 6 mini-switches from wemo -- their newer model. After the newer ones were hardware updated they ceased working reliably using the WEMO app where I had many dozens of rules controlling complex water treatment systems for my Koi, including feeding. I have an eero mesh Wi-fi and the new models can't talk consistently with this network. Can't get through to support and support can't fix the app or the firmware upgrade that doesn't work. It does work with the apple home app just fine. Pure software issue as I am shifting everything to apple home.
