WoodWick® Applewood 21.5 oz. Hourglass Candle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This isn’t your typical apple cinnamon scent. Like many of the Woodwick candles this is a more complex and sophisticated scent. The apple and pear scents are there but this isn’t an overly fruity bright scent. It’s sweet and a bit smoky. The amber and woody notes really tone down the fruit notes and make this scent really unique and stand out among the many other spiced apple candles I already have. The wicks are always enjoyable and the wax pooled nicely. Throw is around a 6/10, it isn’t overpowering and it didn’t fill the whole house but it was nice in a decent sized room.

I love this candle. The smell and throw is lovely.

Of the 5 hourglass WoodWicks I have bought this is the one I regret buying. The spicy cinnamon definitely comes through very strongly. Mine arrived with the wick off centre and I thought of returning it but instead decided to give it a chance and light it. Fully regret that now, I should have just returned it and got a refund. For me personally it is awful but that is of course my personal taste. If you buy this please ensure you are happy with a strong spicy cinnamon scent.
