This candle has all the relaxing properties of a nice roaring fire. The fragrance is wonderful, without all of that smokey smell left on your clothing. It's lighter and more pleasant. The wood wick has a nice relaxing crackle sound. I'm ordering 2 more of this fragrance.
Was bought this candle as a Christmas gift from my daughter. Smell beautiful but wick was spent after just under half the candle was used

I got this for Christmas from my husband who purchased at a Bed Bath and Beyond. We have enjoyed this particular brand of candle several times in the past. At first we couldn't get it to light at all, then it would light and burn erratically for a few minutes and go out. We have been dumping the wax out afterwards because it seems to cover the candle wick as it burns.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such a great year round fragrance. Every person that comes to our home asks what that fragrance is. In fact, our son liked it so much, he requested one for Christmas to put in his apartment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Woodwick Fireside crackling Candles! They smell sooo Good! I just wish they weren't so EXPENSIVE! Also I have a hard time finding the Ribbonwick Candles in this Scent! The straight Wicks are plentiful but I prefer the squiggly ribbon Wicks! Those crackle more and you can hear the crackle better than the straight Wicks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such a rich and Smokey scent. It has the feeling of sitting by a cozy fire and relaxing with a mug of tea or coffee. This is definitely not for you if you do not enjoy the scent of campfires and smoke. Definitely more on the masculine side, in my opinion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Wood Wick candles are all worth the investment because they are made high quality. The crackle is definitely like being next to a fireplace and the throw of the fragrance is wide range. I would recommend this candle for events or to entertain because it definitely has a WOW factor with the way the flame burns. Because of the way the flame burns, the candle wax doesn't last as long on the Ellipse Wood Wick. If you are like me and burn the candle for a long period of time without blowing the flame out, and you're buying it for longevity, I would recommend the Pillar style Wood Wick instead of the Ellipse Wood Wick candles because they will burn for days and will last for the value of the price paid.
