Okay, I will admit that I am a cheapskate. I was in the store and decided to look at knives and couldn't believe the prices. I am a regular person, - not a chef and not cooking meals daily for lots of people. It's just me. Anyway, I was attracted to the fact that they all have a protective shield because I would be placing them in a drawer and did not want to inadvertently slice myself. The price was right, so I gave these a try. I just used the blue one, the smallest of the three, to cut the stem off of a raw artichoke. It takes some getting used to the extreme sharpness because I wasn't expecting it to cut so quickly and easily. Where have you been all my life? These knives are a great value. I might not impress a celebrity chef with this knife set but it is a great value and I am very pleased with this purchase.

I love these knives and use them every day for prep cooking and for just about anything. I highly recommend.
I needed a new paring knife and much to my surprise I got three. Love these knives you will too!!
I purchased the 3 set of Zyliss knives. I like the knives very much, but the packaging is very dangerous. I tried to opened the pqckage with a sissors and cut my finger. It was quite a big cut and bleed very much I suggest you put the knives in the sleeves before packaging, It doesn't do any good to put the knives on top of the sleeves, when they could be protected with the sleeves.

Have been wanting to buy these knives for a while and finally found them at BBB. Like them a lot, especially the covers for the knives. They are really sharp!
