Best can opener ever. Reviews questioned the magnetic lid remover, but i found the negative comments were baseless. Just touch the magnet to the lid and it lifts out effortlessly. Push the red release button and presto, it releases the lid, and that's what it should do, RIGHT??? Haven't had it long, but right out of the box, I'd say I haven't used an easier can opener in my life. And I'm 67.
After basically manually opening cans with whatever I could find to use to open them after my last can opener (also hand held) died, I am thrilled to have one that works! I can't get the hang of using the magnet part so the lid goes into the can unless I leave a little bit not cut. I do like the handle and feel of it.

I really liked this can opener, it was easy on the hands to use. Unfortunately, it only lasted about 1 year with light usage. So I can't recommend it.

This manual can opener REALLY WORKS. It is more reliable than any electric one that previously used and I can count on it if the power goes out. I purchased one for a family member who shares my opinion. Call me crazy but I purchased a spare, just in case this one ever breaks or is discontinued!!
I was looking for a can opener to replace a new OXO brand that just never worked well. After I saw all the good reviews on this one, I decided to try it. Wow, using it is like cutting through butter, and I have arthritis in my hands! Love it and highly recommend it!
