I would buy this vacuum again and again

I LOVE this vacuum! We have 2 dogs and I can't believe how much hair (and dust) this picks up. Nothing gets tangled on the roller which is awesome. My favorite part is how the hose and attachments work - I don't have to stop, go get another piece, take off the hose... - I just push the handle release button and wa-la, I can use the hose to reach up and get any cobwebs or do the corners easily. And I almost forgot how easy it is to do the stairs too - just push the button and bam, it's a hand held vacuum and I'm going right up the stairs! My kids said it's like a transformer! LOL! It totally is! This is my favorite vacuum EVER!

Not great suction

undefined.2 years ago
Not Recommended

I have owned a few Bissell vacuums and have always been satisfied with the results they gave. However on this newest vacuum, I am a little disappointed. The vacuum does a great job on carpets, however, on hard surfaces it leaves a lot to be desired. It does not get very well in edges and the suction is not that great. I have had to run over spots a few times and still won't pick up the dog hair or debris. Needless to say, my time vacuuming has increased trying to vacuum the hard surfaces. If you have carpets I would recommend this vacuum, if you have hard surfaces or both, keep looking.

I have bought the MultiClean Allergen Lift-off Pet vac twice

Bed Bath and Beyond Customer . 2 weeks ago

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I vacuum often because I have carpeting throughout the house and also have 3 dogs and cat. Multiclean helps my house stay clean and hygenic.

I would buy this again

Bed Bath and Beyond Customer . 2 weeks ago

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a little heavier than my last vacuum but it works great. I love that it has a no tangle bar because between my hair and the pet's hair I was spending a lot of time cutting hair from the beater bar.

I recommend highly!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Liiving on an acreage with 3 dogs & a cat sharing the house, I use my MultiClean to keep the hair & dirt out of the carpet & into the burn-barrell! Its cannester is easy to clean compared to my Shark.

Great Suction

Bed Bath and Beyond Customer . 3 weeks ago

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the product for 3 weeks and love it. The suction is great, just make sure you have it on the correct setting. I really like the detachable hose. It seems to have the best locking system that I have encountered out of the last 3 vacuums I had owned.

Bissell A+ vacuums.

Bed Bath and Beyond Customer . 3 weeks ago

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a Bissell vacuum before this one. Bissell is an excellent vacuum. I recommend it to anyone who has pets (or even if they don't)

Amazing

Bed Bath and Beyond Customer . 4 weeks ago

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received this vacuum today. Super light weight and easy to put together. My previous vacuum never would pick up the dog very well and would vacuum a small area for 20 minutes. This vacuum did it like a charm and was absolutely shocked what it picked up.

Maybe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great little sweeper, however the replacement belts are expensive and hard to fine. My belt didn't last 4 months! I've searched everywhere on this website but it doesn't come up!

Awesome

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lighter than my last vacuum. Has a plush carpet option, which works for me! Helps me to stay on top of my dogs hair. I vacuum two times a week. I also enjoy the lift off feature for the stairs.

I would not purchase this product again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brand new and within 5 minutes of using it, the pet eraser stopped working. Very disappointing! Buyer beware!

Better, but still can't handle long pet hair.

Bed Bath and Beyond Customer . 2 months ago

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried a similar Bissell model and had issues with long pet hair getting wrapped around the ends of the roller bar. I was suggested to try the tangle free roller so I tried this vacuum as I really love the lift-off feature. To be clear, I have a long hair, double coated Border Collie and I vacuum daily. This vacuum did better than the one without the tangle free brush but unfortunately still needs daily maintenance to keep the roller brush free of hair. The left end with the belt has a hair trap and felt to block hair from getting into the belt. It also has a round fitting to slide into the frame leaving no room for hair to get caught. So the left side is always perfect. The right side has a rectangle fitting which leaves the sides of the rectangle exposed and hair to wrap around the axle coming from the center of the brush and put strain on the brush. It is better, and less hair gets trapped then the other model, but still needs to be cleaned out after every use. After a couple weeks of using and loving this vacuum, I ultimately decided that having to take the screws and roller out daily would lead to early wear and the vacuum would sadly not last. I really love this vacuum. If I had a shorter haired pet, this vacuum is a game changer with the lift-off for stairs, the lightweight design, and swivel. I am able to clean a large, carpeted home with three sets of stairs in 30 minutes. I am very sad that this can not be my vacuum.

Breathe easier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's nice to know that when I clean, it's not just cosmetic, but I can also breathe without dander building up.

The MicroClean is a great machine.

Bed Bath and Beyond Customer . 2 months ago

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our third Bissell, we just wear them out. This unit seems to have a more powerful suction crabing all our dog hair. Has easy to adjust carpet depth. It is a little diffuclt on the stairs because the base unit is quite tall compared to our other Bissell. Easy to empty and clean.

I would recommend it to other pet owners.

Bed Bath and Beyond Customer . 2 months ago

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found the Bissell easy to use and efficient. Living with a senior cat that on occasion, leaves a little accident, the Bissell makes it quick and easy. The carpet takes less time to dry than other models I've had in the past.

yes

Bed Bath and Beyond Customer . 2 months ago

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cleaning up the cat hair on the rugs was my problem with my other vacuum cleaners. This one does the best job out of all the vacuum cleaners I have had.

Yes, I would buy this product again.

Bed Bath and Beyond Customer . 2 months ago

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My other vacuum cleaners did not pick up the cat hair that was deep in the carpet, but the Bissell Vacuum Cleaner did the job. Easy to use and easy to clean out. I only wish that I had a battery powered one that did the same job.

Might buy product again. Also might look at canister vacuum

Bed Bath and Beyond Customer . 2 months ago

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Use mainly on carpet Picks up dog hair pretty well and is easy to use. Only suggestion I would have is bow; could be bigger. Dog hair fills up to filter quickly so has to be emptied often

Wow! This vacuum is amazing!

Bed Bath and Beyond Customer . 2 months ago

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All I have to say is WOW!! We have 2 dogs with short hair and endless shedding. The multi clean does not disappoint! I used to have a dyson. We are super happy with how much hair this vacuum picks up, it's quite amazing. We were worried about such a powerful vacuum pulling up and ruining our low pile carpet, but so far everything is intact. It even works great on hard wood floors. It's light and easy to maneuver, it swivels easily to get corners better than my Dyson ever did. Only negative is the cord is too short, if it weren't for this, this vacuum would be perfect.

Meh...

Bed Bath and Beyond Customer . 2 months ago

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, let me say that I love that Bissell is such a pet-friendly company. I only wish that their pet vacuums worked more like the higher-end pet vacuums. I have one dog, a labrador retriever; shedding is moderate to high. I purchased the Bissell MultiClean Allergen Lift-Off Pet vac recently when my 10 year old Dyson DC17 Animal died. I did do some research but needed a vacuum quickly, and the MultiClean Allergen Lift-Off Pet vac got good reviews so I thought that I would try it as the price point wasn't terribly prohibitive. Now, I wasn't expecting the MultiClean Allergen to be just as effective as the Dyson but I must admit that I am disappointed at just how much LESS effective the cleaning is from the DC17 Animal. On a positive note, the Bissell vac is relatively lightweight, easy to operate, and moderately quiet. Carpet pickup on low pile is decent, although not quite as good as I had expected. However, the ability to clean the edges of large area rugs is terrible (actually leaves more hair than it picks up!) and bare floor cleaning is only so-so (I spend too much time using the wand to pick up pet hair on bare flooring). Edge cleaning capability along baseboards, area rugs or low furniture is almost non-existent, again requiring the wand for pick up. Does the Bissell MultiClean Allergen Lift-off vacuum pick up pet hair and other debris? Yes, but it just doesn't live up to my needs or expectations for a pet hair removal vacuum. My recommendation would be to invest in a higher-end vac for pet hair removal if you have animals that shed heavily. This Bissell cleaner will work well for those people who don't have pets or kids.
