Great Slow Cooker

The 6.5 quart crock is great for my family of 5!. The retractable cord is one of my favorite features. Another feature that is nice is the warming mode after timer is done. The handles do not get too hot on the outside which is also very nice. I actually had to return a Crock Pot 6qt because the handles were burning to the touch when the pot was on. Cuisinart is one of my favorite appliance brands for reliability and this does not disappoint!

The bottom of the ceramic insert has crackled and cracked. Probably used this no more than 15 times last winter. Warranty information is not readily available on the Bed Bath and Beyond website, you must request the information. Have contacted both BB&B and Cuisinart. Will update review once I receive attention.

Worth the extra price

I love it. Came with a rack for roasting. Also the cord is retractable. Pull out to plug in & pull again to make it go back in. It's just awesome

A Weekend Lifesaver

Ceagull . 3 months ago

Our slow cooker makes cold weather and lazy weekends a breeze. We usually make a curried chicken stew (I prefer dark meat) and it cooks until the next day. Try putting in raw eggs still in the shell and ( they absorb all the flavor of the stew.) Potatoes, pearl barley, red beans, Then there is also heart soups of all kinds.

Great Crockpot

Colleen . 4 months ago

My friend would let me use this very same crockpot. I was so happy when I found it on BedBath and Beyond. It is programmable, very large, cooks food well, great for making bone broth, and I love that the cord is retractable.

Cuisinart is the only way

SpnshTchr . 5 months ago

I bought this to replace a crockpot that I couldn’t program. It had preset times and temperature. I lived with it as long as I could. Very frustrating. I got to the point when I had enough ! I am a fan of Cuisinart. Never have I had a problem. I can program it!!

Great Slow Cooker

Bonnie . 7 months ago

I've only used this twice, but I am very pleased with it so far. It cooks evenly and thoroughly. It's easy to clean up and a good size for larger amounts. I love the retractable cord and the simmer & warm settings when meals are done. When it comes to small appliances, I have always purchased Cuisinart and always happy with them.

Wonderful experience to use!

99 dollar paperweight

Jimjen . 8 months ago

Lasted all of 4 months being used 1 x week. Cuisanart used to be a good brand but apparently not any more. BBB does not accept returns after 60 days so we have a big paperweight now. Don't waste your money.

Purchase number two.

Excellent performer with good flexibility in programming and size. Replacement for similar model that still operates but has lost its lcd screen - an apparent weakness and one that cannot be rectified as spares are not available in Australia.

Classy looking stainless steel slow cooker

GigiLori . 12 months ago

6.5 quart programmable slow cooker by Cuisinart is very solidly build. It was an excellent price. It is also "classy" so would look very nice if stored on countertop. I don't store mine on countertop and it is very heavy to lift to shelf to store. It is also rectangular. Crockpot liners do fit; however the rectangular shape causes the liner to have to be placed under the edge of the crock. I have not used enough to understand programming. I am pleased that, unlike my previous crockpot, it allows exactly the time-in 30 minute increments-to cook, then switches to warm.

Loved my old Cuisinart..trying to like my new one

Debra Bertine . 12 months ago

The low setting on this unit is much lower in temp then the units that I have had in the past..and then the high is to high and causing my food to burn..I have adjusted my cooking temps moving forward..I still like the product..Very easy to use ..Trial and error.

Good product, too heavy!

The inside pot is very heavy. Difficult for an older person to utilize!

Programmable Slow Cooker with 4 heat settings

Knit Purl . 1 year ago

My old Crockpot would boil on low. This one is perfect on low. Made tomato sauce and chicken soup in it so far. Both came out delicious. Like that there are warm , simmer, low and high settings.
