    Lots of Error Messages

    Sam . 2 months ago

I receive several error messages when I run D10. I bought D3 in the past and have been happy with it. D10 is a huge disappointment.

    Horrible Product with Horrible Support

    Jory . 3 months ago

The Neato D10 is a device that transforms a time-consuming but relatively simply task like vacuuming into a time-consuming but difficult Information Technology (IT) task. Instead of spending your time vacuuming, this product allows you to spend hours and hours figuring out why it randomly stops in the middle of a run and gives up, stops 6 inches short of the base, completes runs successfully only about 10% of the time and loses connection to my account in the cloud. The final straw was when the vacuum suddenly lost it's connection with my account in the cloud. No amount of time or effort could restore the connection. I ended up creating a new account under a different email so the piece of junk would work again. If you enjoy deleting and reinstalling apps, playing around with settings, hunting around the entire house for the robot that has gone rogue, putting it back on the charging base that is 6 inches away, getting it unstuck from areas that are clearly marked as "keep out" areas, and cleaning out the dust bin after every run, this is the product for you. Frankly, it's less time consuming to just vacuum the old-fashioned way but if you enjoy beating your head against buggy software, firmware and apps then this product is for you. I can't believe this product is even on the market. What a waste of time and money.

    Poor customer service, useless toy

Miss corners, and areas. I have to clean brushes before every run. clean the bin every time. Battery life is great. Suction is OK.

    Very Disappointed

    Louis . 7 months ago

I have been a Neato owner for years. This model is terrible. I ran it on turbo mode and it barely picked up any dog hair. I went out and purchased the pet/hair brush and got the same result. This model is really bad. In addition the navigation system doesn’t work correctly. It missed many spots. Didn’t clean them at all. And don’t even try to create cleaning maps. The version got confused and returned back to the docking station. So just for fun I ran my Neato D7 right after the D10 finishing cleaning. I had to stop it to empty the dirt bin more than 5 times. Do not buy this model. You will be very disappointed.

    Learning intelligent robot

    Alz . 10 months ago

I've been using Neato robots for over 10 years. This is clearly the best so far. Although it did get stuck on some items early on in my 5 months of use, it learned not to get stuck in the same spot on subsequent runs. If there is a trouble area like around our dining room table with its curves and flowing leg design, it was easy to block the entire area with their mapping tool.

    Released too early.

We have had 3 Neato robots and all worked pretty much okay. We tried the D10 and had high hopes with the new software and the new design, but after many problems and in talking to support, the features required for this robot to function are not there. They released this technology too soon. Retuning today. May wait for a while and see if they fix the bugs.

    DO NOT BUY

    KW . 1 year ago

I bought this product because I had an older version and loved it. This robot is so “unintelligent “ it’s ridiculous. It can’t navigate around chairs or corners. It backs itself under objects then gets stuck. Low hanging clothes in a closet, nope just stops and gets confused. The clothes aren’t in the way of anything. I could not be more disappointed from a product that I thought highly of before.

    so sad

I loved my old Neato worked like a champ for so long till it didn’t. I could repair it So I broke down and bought the d10. When it doesn’t get stuck it works like a champ but it gets caught on a corner or anything minor and it’s stuck till you move it. I don’t want to have to supervise the vac all day ruins the purpose of it! My old Neato and my two iRobots work like champs one is 8 yrs old. Sadly this one is going back

    Great vacuum!

We bought the D10 around Christmas and love it!!! The mapping and select room cleaning is great! The notifications are quick if it has an issue. The best thing so far has been customer support. They have answered questions by calling no matter what time we reached out. It vacuums in straight lines, cleans room by room and has definitely been a great addition to our home. Will absolutely be sticking with Neato for our future needs!

Neato D10 = Clean Floors - Manual Labor

AGrayt fan . 1 year ago

Neato D10 is great. I’ve been running it for 2 weeks now and it keeps my floors hair free! I have 4 dogs. It knows to avoid stairs or ledges without intervention. The only thing I’m not a fan of is the required use of the app to program everything. It maps your whole house and to me that’s creepy.

Not the same quality / changed LIDAR system

    Andy . 1 year ago

Owned the popluar, innovative Neato XV-21 when it first came out with LIDAR, 10 years later STILL going strong, would get stuck in the house once every week or two. Decided to upgrade since Neato just came out with the D10, top of the line with app connectivity, BIG mistake, while the suction and HEPA filter is an attractive option compared to iRobot, it failed in the "automation part" out of the 15 times on 15 different days it cleaned the house it only returned to base once, it would often get stuck at most random places including in the hallway, where app notified me to please move object out of the way when it is no where neat any object, only a wall in front of the D10. Everyday I came back to D10 stuck in random room not to mention the LIDAR system failed multiple times to map out the house. Last straw was the notification on APP saying D10 sensor has failed, please contact customer support. Needless to say, I switched to iRobot J7+ which has never gotten stuck once out of the 10 runs, mapped out the house on its first run perfectly and its APP is years ahead of Neato's.

    Effectively non-functional

    Stephen . 1 year ago

I've had the unit out of the box for about 6 hours now. I've fully charged it and let it apply the latest firmware update. The robot keeps giving errors about a wheel being stuck. The error seems to affect either wheel and seems random as to which wheel is affected at any given time. After getting this wheel stuck error, you're forced to reboot the robot. I want to be very clear - there is no debris around the wheels, nor cords, nor hair. The unit is literally hours away from brand new. These errors occur very frequently - the longest period of vacuuming the robot has done was 6 minutes. I've experienced over a dozen errors so far. I can't comment on the room mapping features or cleaning efficacy because the robot won't run long enough to actually test those features.
