It helps keep feet warm

Fleming.1 year ago

My husband has cold feet due to a medical condition. This product really helps keep his feet warm.

Overall I am disappointed in this. The name “heat wrap” leads you to believe the whole thing is heated-it’s not. Only the foot part is heated and not well at that. The massaging feature is just a vibration, certainly not a massage. I gave two stars because the Sherpa is soft and cozy.

Most useless item I've ever had

BB&B Customer . 3 months ago

There is so much that is useless about this product that I would be writing for an hour to list everything. To top it off this merchant refuses exchange it another item because "it is SEASONAL ITEM" yet they are still selling them. Time to see an attorney.

Heating Foot and Leg Massager

BB&B Customer . 4 months ago

This product only vibrates. Disappointing. Returned.

Actually not as bad as some of the ratings

Lydia . 6 months ago

It is true that only the feet gets the slight vibrations with the different settings. The zipper part is soft Sherpa and is warm and soft. I don't always use the feet vibrations but just cozying in the zipper part keeps me nice snuggly and warm. I just have to remember that I cannot walk with this on so a lot of zip and unzip happening unless I have what I need around me to not move. I was going to return it since I don't use it as much as I thought that I would but changed my mind since the weather changed to colder weather and instead of putting on the heater, I just snuggle in this and have my handy heating pad for my neck.

It's broken after less than six months.

We got this for my son as a birthday present (February). He uses it in his room when he's on his computer and loves it - even in the summer. (Which is weird, but I'm not going to argue with a teenager!) Last week, he noticed that the control panel was blinking and that the heating element was no longer working. We took a look and it's definitely broken. He hasn't even had this for six months and it no longer works. We're out of the return window, so I have to see if I have any recourse with the manufacturer at this point. But overall, it's disappointing - it's not like it was a super inexpensive product. It should work!

Too short

Plenty of heat and that’s all

Disappointing

The massaging part is on the soles of the feet only, rendering this contraption basically useless.

Warm and cozy

Olivia1237 . 1 year ago

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The calming cozy is great if sitting on a chair or at your desk. It heats up wonderfully and is soft and cozy to the touch. Great if working from home. I wish it were more versatile when reclined or laying down but with the hard foot rest at the bottom it just doesn’t work well that way. All in all a nice product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this since I live in the high Rocky Mountains where I ski a lot and live in cold temperatures daily. This blanket is absolutely perfect for helping your feet and keeping your legs and body warm enough day after day! Very satisfied

It's an OK blanket for a winter day

Coco84 . 1 year ago

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really really wanted to love this blanket. When I saw this product online, I thought this was perfect for me. I work from home, in the North East, and during the cold days, I thought this would be the perfect blanket to have at my desk. The material of the blanket itself is really soft and warm and cozy, however, every other feature felt off to me. First, it says the blanket is weighted. I own a weighted blanket that I use at night to help me sleep, and this blanket is not weighted at all. If it is supposed to feel heavier in the blanket part, I couldn't detect it at all. Maybe the weights are in the foot area...if so, that is rather deceptive. Second, the massager is not soothing at all. It feels like most vibrating "massagers" you'd get, that just agitate your muscles, instead of relaxing them. It made my feet feel numb after only a couple of minutes of use, so I don't even use the massager at all - and that feels like a waste to me. Third, there is a zipper on the side, to seal up the bag and I guess make it feel like a sleeping bag. However, it says in the instructions not to step on the foot massager, so I have no idea how you would be able to zip up the bag completely without straining your back to arch it so you can lift your butt without stepping full force on the foot part. It feels like a gimmick that is not possible to function in real life. What I do love about this blanket is that it heats up. It's really nice for sitting and keeping your legs warm. Especially if you live in a drafty northeastern house during a cold winter. I guess it's ok if you want to buy a heating blanket, but the other features didn't feel like it would be worth the extra cost associated to have them. The blanket didn't feel weighted and the massage feature was more annoying than soothing. All and all I think this is a great heated blanket, and I LOVE the idea, but in execution, I'd say this is a miss.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product to review and was super excited to try it!!! Its the best of 2 products combined, a heated blanket and a foot massager. Its like a heated sack and its awesome to use if you are sitting at a desk or sitting on the couch. Its awesome for people that are always cold!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This device is so helpful for aching feet after a long day of walking. The massaging feature and added heat feels so therapeutic to my feet. I have flat arches and it causes a great deal of discomfort even with use of arch supports.

Feels so comfortable

Hendrika . 1 year ago

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Calming Cozy is so nice to use after a busy day. The massaging heating wrap is easy to use with the controller. I unzip the cozy and place my feet and legs inside and rest my feet. I then zip up the cozy and plug in the controller. I set the heat and the level of vibration and just sit back and relax with a nice book. The vibration shuts off automatically after fifteen minutes and the heat shuts off automatically after two hours. The cozy is very comfortable with a nice warm sherpa lining that gives this heating wrap such a nice soft luxurious feel. I love that there are three heat settings and massage modes. My legs and feet just feel so relaxed and all my tight and tired muscles feel supple after using the calming cozy. This is a wonderful massaging heating wrap for this busy mom to get a nice relaxing leg massage. Highly recommend!

Great Vibration and Warming Features

chuckiedee22 . 1 year ago

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In the past, products with the Sharper Image branding always signified high quality, more exclusive products. That's not necessarily the case anymore. With that said, here is my review for the Sharper Image Calming Cozy. First of all, there is a tag attached to the product that lists 14 "DANGER" warnings, and states to never remove the tag from the product. Once you open the box, there is an instruction booklet that immediately lists 24 safety instructions (more dangers and warnings). I wasn't sure if I dared try this product with all the dangers and warnings that were stated in the enclosed material. The Calming Cozy is easy to use, and has one of the most simple controllers of any product I have ever used. The process is simple...almost. Unzip the cozy, place feet and legs inside the cozy, resting feet, yet not applying any pressure to the cozy footbase. Zip up the cozy, plug in the controller, and set the heat and/or vibration to the level desired. The vibration automatically shuts off after 15 minutes, and the heat shuts off automatically after two hours. All the promotion photos for this product show the user sitting on the cozy, with the cozy at waist height. For this to happen the user would have to stand on the cozy, and pull the cozy up to waist level before sitting again. However, in the warning label on the product, and on the enclosed instruction booklet, there are specific warnings to "not put the entire weight of the whole body on the base". I'm not sure how a user can get the cozy situated to waist level without standing on the cozy and pulling the product up. The product has a warm sherpa lining, and a velvet-feeling exterior. The zipper is large and tracks smoothly, without catching the sherpa lining. The power cord is nine feet long, allowing it to be plugged in virtually anywhere. After using the Calming Cozy for 30 minutes on vibrate and heat, my feet are still tingling and my legs are feeling warm and comfortable. Will I be using the product daily? I doubt it. I'm not seeing it as a long term solution or therapy for my feet and legs. Others may view this product differently, yet that's my immediate opinion. I gave the product 4 stars for quality and ease of use. I deducted 1 star because I don't see it as something I would use frequently.

Warm with gentle vibration massage

Fleecie . 1 year ago

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's cozy and warm, and easy to wear. The massage function feels like vibration rather than a kneading sensation. It did make my feet feel tingly the first time, but I got used to it after that. I think it stimulated more blood flow to my feet. It felt nice, but it's very gentle, not a strong deep massage.

Keeps Me Warm & Cozy!

Blissfullydivine01 . 1 year ago

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was ecstatic to have received this Sharper Image Calming Cozy Massaging Heating Wrap, especially since it arrived on one of the coldest days of the year and I knew it could be put to good use. I was thrilled to try it out, so after reading the instructions, I took it straight out of the box to put it to use. The first thing I noticed was how incredibly soft and velveteen the outer shell and the inner plush sherpa soft linning felt! It reminded me of a butterfly cocoon and also, a sleeping bag. It was fairly easy to slip my body into, I just had to be careful not to step on the base to damage it, so I had to be in a setting down position first. After getting comfortable and warm with the blanket alone, I turned on the heat setting to the highest setting and turned on the massage setting to low. The message and heat setting both felt nice, but neither one were what I was quite expecting, even after turning the massage setting to high. The massage feature was more like a vibration, and not like a deep soothing massage that I was hoping for and the heat setting didn't get as warm, either. It would have been better if the whole inside of my blanket would have been able to get warm, it just warmed up the foot of the base. I do like how it does have a safety feature and the heat setting turns off after two hours and the massage setting turns off after 15 minutes, just in case you forget. Overall, this blanket does work well to keep my feet nice and warm and to keep me cozy.

Keeps your feet watm

dl111 . 1 year ago

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The calming cozy arrived on one of the coldest days of the year. I couldn’t wait to try it! Out of the box, I was impressed with how soft the blanket is. It reminds me of a sleeping bag with the zipper down the side. It was fairly easy to slip into. I just had to be careful not to step on the base as indicated in the directions. When I first turned on the vibrating function, it felt more like a tickle on my feet. Turning the vibration up to high made it feel a little more like a massage. Not the deep tissue massage I was hoping for but it is still relaxing to use when you add in the heat. The heat is localized to the foot area and doesn’t go up the blanket which would be nice. Even on high, it’s not terribly warm. The vibration does turn off after around 20 minutes. The first time it happened, I thought it had bit the dust. After resetting it, I realized it was a safety feature. The heat is auto set to turn off after 2 hours which is good if you are forgetful like me. Overall, the calming cozy is nice to cuddle up on the couch with on a cold day with the dog. It’s lacking in actual “massage” but does a good job at keeping my feet warm.

Ultimate Comfort

Kyle . 1 year ago

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is incredible. It's so soft when not turned on, but when you add in the heat and the massaging elements of it it really becomes the ultimate product. I immediately fire this thing up when I get home and it stays on most of the evening lately.
