The payment processor for your transactions is WePay a Chase company. WePay is owned and operated by JPMorgan Chase and has been processing payments since 2008. WePay is a certified Level 1 PCI Compliant Service Provider (the highest level), which requires an annual independent security audit of our processes and systems.

After you have created your registry, go to your Wedding Registry Home page and click on the “Create A Cash Fund” link. This will prompt you to create your account with WePay and link your bank account information. Once complete you can customize your cash funds.

Pricing is very simple. The standard rate for each credit card transaction is 2.5%.

You can instantly start accepting payments once you set up your account with simply your name and email address. You will receive an email from WePay to complete your account and banking information. Get more details here

Please allow a total of 2-5 business days for your funds to appear in your bank account. The speed at which this happens depends largely on when your bank posts the funds. Most banks will make your funds available on the same day that they receive the transfer. On occasion, banks may take an additional 2-3 days to do so.

Note: Your first few transactions may take longer to be processed and deposited to your bank account. When a first transaction is made, your profile is being built to protect you from fraud and to ensure a safe, secure and legitimate payment process.

WePay will send you an email letting you know any time a guest pays you. The email will include the name of the guest and how much was paid.

To ensure these emails don't end up in your spam or junk folder, we recommend you add chase-support@wepay.com to your email account's contact list. This way, you'll always get the message when your guest paid you, and any other important details we may send you about your payments account.
